on Death and DYING

- you tell me am dying, I tell you that’s not so
the “house” I live in is worn out and that of course I know
It has been in use a long while, it weathered many gale
Im really surprised you think its getting frail
The color changing on the roof, the windows getting dim
The walls a bit transparent and looking rather thin
The foundations not steady, as once it used to be
My “house is getting shaky, but my “ house” isn’t me

My few short years, cant make me old, I feel am in my youth
Eternity lies just ahead, a life of joy and truth
Im going to live forever there life will go on – its grand
You tell me am dying, You just don’t understand
The Dweller in my “house” is young and bright and gay
Just starting a life to last throughout eternal day
You only see the outside, which is all that most folks see
You tell me I am dying? You’ve mixed my “ house” with me
The house you covered with sand this … (month)
Will lay still, will undergo decay
But I have soared beyond, have found my niche on heaven
Mourn not for me, my dear, at last I am safe in Him!
