Today ill be posting a collection of Singles Prayers ive collected over the years from different websites and friends:

Dear Jesus,
I know many single Christians who are in search of that special someone. Please teach each of us to learn from you and listen to your messengers, so that we will be able to recognize the one you have in mind for us.

Thank you for being patient when we choose a different path. Sometimes we think we know better and take a little more time to come around to your way of thinking. Help us wash away our fears and break those old bad habits that have been getting us into trouble, preventing us from having healthy relationships.

Show us how to manage our time better in our busy lives so that we can make new friends. As you know friendship is a good way to get to know a person before entering into a romance.

And Lord, give us Your guidance to become people of good character and prepare us to meet our new soul mate. We ask this in your precious name. Amen.

SEEKING A MARRIAGE MATE

Lord, You said that it is not good for us to be alone. You made us for each other. But Lord, I find it so hard to find that mate who would be a good spouse. Help me, Lord, to put this yearning for marriage in its proper place.

Lead me, Lord, to the one whom You choose for my spouse. While I wait for You to reveal Your Will in this matter, help me to know myself better. Help me to address those areas of my life which are disordered and which would interfere with my having a successful marriage. When my desire to find a spouse becomes all consuming, help me to relax and practice patience. Help me to invest in wholesome friendships which bring me closer to You and which will assist me in making such an important decision. It is so natural, Lord, to seek love.

Teach me to seek You first and to learn to give love before I try to receive it. Help me to remember that whatever journey this life leads me on, You are always present, always offering companionship, and always filling my deepest need. I offer You, Lord, my loneliness and my longing for marriage. I wait for You to lead me to Your perfect Will for me in this and all things. Amen.

FINDING FUTURE SPOUSE
Dear Heavenly Father, Who said, "It is not good that the man should be alone," I come to you asking for help to find my life partner.

I pray to You for guidance, for I am Your child, and You are my loving and heavenly Father.
As I seek to assume my place in life and fulfill my mission, I long to share my love with another, to establish a home and to raise a family. In Your tender mercy direct me to a companion who will appreciate me and requite my love. I do not want to be alone, but would prefer to share my joys and sorrows with a beloved mate - one of my faith and my way of life. Hear my prayer for the sake of Him who blessed marriage by His presence during His ministry on earth. Amen.

WISE CHOICE IN MARRIAGE

Glorious Saint Raphael, Patron and lover of the young, I feel the need of call­ing to you and of pleading for your help. In all confidence I open my heart to you to beg your guidance and assistance in the important task of planning my future. Obtain for me through your intercession the light of God's grace so that I may de­cide wisely concerning the person who is to be my partner through life. Angel of Happy Meetings, lead us by the hand to find each other. May all our movements be guided by your light and transfigured by your joy. As you led the young Tobias to Sara and opened up a new life of happi­ness with her to holy marriage, lead me to such a one whom in your angelic wisdom you judge best suited to be united with me in marriage.

St. Raphael, loving patron of those seeking a marriage partner, help me in this supreme decision of my life. Find for me as a helpmate in life the person whose character may reflect some of the traits of Jesus and Mary. MOMENTO MORI - REMEMBER DEATH

MATTHEW 16:24

"What will it profit us to gain the whole world if we lose our souls"....
when we are tempted to sin, to decide against the good and the truth,
we should try to keep in mind that we only have one soul,
a soul that cannot be bought, changed or traded.

in these reflective month of Lent.. we should reflect how our souls stand before God, the Just Judge from whom nothing is hidden, who takes no bribes, and accepts no excuses , while we live we can take advantage of His Divine Mercy , and when our earthly life is over... our souls might receive this strict justice.

REJECTION

Rejections in any form, hurts and develop scars, it usually is caused by things we want, things weve prayed for that still has no answer, it maybe people we care for, who does not give back the same care or love, it makes us hurt, angry, dissappointed, powerless, hopeless and helpless.

It is normal and ok to mourn and to feel hurt. But try not to miss out on the good things there is still about life, it maybe your supportive family, friends, relatives, your job or try to focus on things that your still blessed with. Whats important is to not get stuck in the mourning period.

Cheer up, God isnt finished with you yet, learn to hope and be patient, He always wants whats best for us, it maybe not in the package we want or hoped for but always in the package that He thinks we need.

Ten Guidelines From God

Effective Immediately, please be aware that there are changes YOU need
to make in YOUR life. These changes need to be completed in order that I may fulfill My promises to you to grant you peace, joy and happiness in this life. I apologize for any inconvenience, but after all that I am doing, this seems very little to ask of you. Please, follow these 10 guidelines :


1. QUIT WORRYING:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit
and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here
to take all your burdens and carry them for you?
Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little
thing that comes your way?

2. PUT IT ON THE LIST:
Something needs done or taken care of. Put it
on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY
to-do-list. Let ME be the one to take care
of the problem. I can't help you until you turn
it over to Me. And although My to-do-list
is long, I am after all... God. I can take care
of anything you put into My hands. In fact,
if the truth were ever really known, I take
care of a lot of things for you that you never
even realize.

3. TRUST ME:
Once you've given your burdens to Me,
quit trying to take them back. Trust in
Me. Have the faith that I will take care of
all your needs, your problems and your trials.
Problems with the kids? Put them on My list.
Problem with finances? Put it on My list.
Problems with your emotional roller coaster?
For My sake, put it on My list. I want to
help you. All you have to do is ask.

4. LEAVE IT ALONE:
Don't wake up one morning and say,
"Well, I'm feeling much stronger now, I think
I can handle it from here." Why do you think
you are feeling stronger now? It's simple.
You gave Me your burdens and I'm taking
care of them. I also renew your strength
and cover you in my peace. Don't you
know that if I give you these problems back,
you will be right ba ck where you started?
Leave them with Me and forget about
them. Just let Me do my job.

5. TALK TO ME:
I want you to forget a lot of things.
Forget what was making you crazy.
Forget the worry and the fretting because
you know I'm in control. But there's one
thing I pray you never forget. Please, don't
forget to talk to Me - OFTEN! I love YOU!
I want to hear your voice. I want you to
include Me in on the things going on in your life.
I want to hear you talk about your friends
and family. Prayer is simply you having
a conversation with Me. I want to be your
dearest friend.

6. HAVE FAITH:
I see a lot of things from up here that you
can't see from where you are. Have faith in
Me that I know what I'm doing. Trust Me;
you wouldn't want the view from My eyes.
I will continue to care for you, watch over you,
and meet your needs. You only have to trust Me.
Although I have a much bigger task than you,
it seems as if you have so much trouble just
doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?

7. SHARE:
You were taught to share when you were
only two years old. When did you forget?
That rule still applies. Share with those who are
less fortunate than you. Share your joy with
those who need encouragement. Share your
laughter with those who haven't heard any in
such a long time. Share your tears with those
who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith
with those who have none.

8. BE PATIENT:
I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime
you could have so many diverse experiences.
You grow from a child to an adult, have children,
change jobs many times, learn many trades,
travel to so many places, meet thousands
of people, and experience so much. How can
you be so impatient then when it takes Me
a little longer than you expect to handle
something on My to-do-list? Trust in My
timing, for My timing is perfect. Just
because I created the entire universe in
only six days, everyone thinks I should
always rush, rush, rush.

9. BE KIND:
Be kind to others, for I lov e them just
as much as I love you. They may not dress
like you, or talk like you, or live the same way
you do, but I still love you all. Please try
to get along, for My sake. I created each
of you different in some way. It would be
too boring if you were all identical.
Please, know I love each of your differences.

10. LOVE YOURSELF:
As much as I love you, how can you not
love yourself? You were created by me for
one reason only -- to be loved, and to love
in return. I am a God of Love. Love Me.
Love your neighbors. But also love yourself.
It makes My heart ache when I see you
so angry with yourself when things go
wrong. You are very precious to me.
Don't ever forget......

ST. JOSEPH'S FEAST DAY - MARCH 19

IN NEED OF HELP TODAY ?

try to ask St. Josephs intercession..... foster-father of Our Lord, chaste spouse of Our Lady, patriarch of the Church, and protector of the needy.Please take advantage of Saint Joseph's great intercessory power to ask for graces on his feast day.

Prayer to Saint Joseph

O thou, whom no one has ever yet invoked in vain, thou, whose power with Our Lord and Our Lady is so great, that it has been truly said, "In Heaven, Joseph commands rather than supplicates," tender father, intercede for me!
St. Joseph, be my advocate with thy Divine Son, Whose foster-father and faithful protector thou wert here below. Add to all thy glories, that of gaining the despaired of cause that I confide to thee. TAKING UP OUR CROSSES

If theres one requirement in following Jesus its, to follow Him and take up our cross.

so what does comprise this cross:

1.) Our cross is our own limitations- it maybe our pains, physical flaws that makes us insecure, imperfections, sad experiences, loneliness, fears, insecurities, our sins

2.) then again they are other people who become a cross to us - most times our sufferings comes from the people we love or care the most. This is due to their inability to understand, to take care of us, ignore us, their offenses, indifference or betrayal. Through society we also share crosses - wars, injustices, hunger, poverty , unemployment, global crisis, conditions that are against our human dignity.

3.) and the deepest meaning of the cross comes from our relationship with God, since we cannot see Him and were still pilgrims on our way home, There are still many questions to be answered, still many promises and desires to be fulfilled.

To take up our cross means to TRUST in God, specially when its difficult, when we cant see immediate results, its an act of hope, it helps purify us, and stimulate our desire for God, an abandonement in Gods hands. The cross has the power to liberate us from hate and restore unity.

VACUUM

TIME

the hurts and failures of the past."



Prayer for the day:

Lord help me to use this gift of time to learn to forget things done to hurt us, and to eventually forgive, and realize lessons i need to learn too. Amen

MATURITY

Maturity is love in Action, maturity through love demands dicipline.

Maturity is being myself... its harmony between what i want, between myself and others, between my desires and my faith.. its reconciliation with my past, trust in my present and hope in my future. Its when my mind , heart and actions run in the same direction.

Emotionally Mature?

entails self esteem, stablility of character, personal autonomy, positive rapport with ones sexuality, capability of solidarity: sincerity, enthusiasm and sens of humor.

Mature in Decision Making?

ability to make wieghed decisions, sense of responsibility, fidelity to ones promises, affirmation in the face of pressures, initiative

Mature Judegement

sound assesment of events and people, opennes to dialogue, overcoming selfishness and dogmatism, interiorized set of values, cultural identification, frankness.

Maturity is a lifelong growth process.

on MISSING SUNDAY MASS

.... Yes, In this day and age it is heart wrenching that there are still people struggling ... under the pains of prison, physical torture, rape, burning to death, specially Christians in non-Christian places, to attend Mass, to hear God, to partake of communion.... still.. they try.... Whats your excuse?

and yet i who can , and who need not undergo difficulties to visit you, and have my hour with you, is either late for it.... not listening, complain when mass is too long or too short, or worst is physically present but mentally absent.


Prayer for today:

Lord, let me offer my prayer and sufferings today for those who are oppresed and struggling to come and be with you. Amen

SO U THINK YOUR.....

..... sometimes we think were righteous, sometimes we think were perfect, or we dont see any speck in our eye, unaccountable, or blameless..... maybe.. but maybe not.....aha! think again.... and most importantly we must reflect.


Prayer for the day:

Lord God, when i think im without sin, let me be reminded... to look kindly at the one who sinned .... and reflect and tell myself.... There go i, but for the grace of God.

THE TRUTH

Lord, Let them know my protection is also my isolation,

DROWNING ?

God brings men in to deep waters, not to drown them, but to cleanse them.





Prayer for the Day:

Lord when at times i feel im already drowning... let me not lose hope, because much as i rebel, i do need this momentary cleansing to be able to see things in their right perspective and so that after being cleansed..... i can hope again. Amen

THE LOTUS

" Observe a Lotus, it remains white , beautiful and radiant , even as it lingers in the filthy waters of a pond ". -Confuscius.



Prayer for the Day:

Lord even if evil be around us, we should be like the lotus, since it has to start with one to fill the the pond with more. Amen

DELAYS

GOD's delays are never Gods denials.... maybe you have to wait awhile.... maybe you have to grow ahwile... but God will answer your prayer, keep you hopes up... cheer up..it may not be in the exact package you want it but in exactly how He see's you will merit from it.

CHANGE

Change always leaves something behind,
a letting go... or a loss of some kind... usually its not without pain that we experience this,
most times we fear this "growth spurts" because we have become used to it and comfortable with it



Prayer for the day:

Lord, let me not fear my growth spurts, but let me be confident that you are with me as in the changes that are/will be happening. Amen.

Growth

" We only grow by taking risks, authenticity requires courage and humility,
it means, facing our fears
fear of exposure,
rejection,
of being hurt,
its the healthy way to grow spiritually and emotionally, but the most difficult.



Prayer for the Day:

Lord teach me to overcome my fears, of being hurt, difficult as it may seem, it is my only means too of learning to love... as you did. Amen
