i made this opposite picture of my country
like the other one one circulating around the country and social media,
no offense meant to the maker but only for the reason that the other one
feels like im being enveloped with darkness, id like
to see it this way... our country the Philippines is undergoing alot due to a super storm, that is considered the strongest in the world Typhoon Yolanda who flattened homes, causing major damage to lives and property, losing loved ones in a deluge of tsunami like water, killing rich, poor, young and old.... by the thousands :( ......devastation all over,
and when tragedies happen you see the best and the worst in humanity,
my country is temporarily engulfed in mourning, gripping grief , shock,
depression, dissapointment, anger that comes out of frustration and the
feeling of helplessness. BUT there is an urgent need to set aside all
our own worries , fears, helplessness, selfishness in order for
SELFLESSNESS to come out and do what is necessary for our brothers and
sisters in the Southern parts of our beloved country. BUT in all things
that is happening to us right now, we place all trust, hope and worries
for the future to a most loving God and Father.. and GOD made us believe
again in the goodness of humanity, and believing that there is still so
much good around. We have felt overpowering outpourings of love,
support, concern, prayers from all over the world! For this we are much
thankful to people, nations who have extended their time, talent, treasure to us in our
difficult time...we can never repay you all, and we do remember, but we can pray too for
you, the darkness is already lifting and in it is our new found hope.
